Why should I ever pay for job information?

I would never pay for job information!!! I hear that one all the time. And you know what? I understand.

You don’t pay for job information. It’s always come free with your newspaper subscription.

Or the headhunter always rings twice.

Or your buddies have always kept you in the loop.

So it doesn’t make sense to pay for job information, does it?

Sure, you pay for financial advice from your estate planner, you pay for health advice from your doctor, and you pay for tax advice from your accountant. Perhaps you pay for a trainer at the gym, a computer tutor, or for cooking classes or dance lessons. You probably pay for a lot of different advice and information. But you most certainly don’t pay for something like job information! I mean, they’re supposed to be looking for you, right? There are drawbacks to the “free” resources. And these drawbacks can be very harmful to your paycheck.

Let’s look at one of the ways to get free job information—Job Boards

Keep an eye on the Big Three job boards and you’ll be covered, right? Just apply for the jobs that you’re qualified for, right? Well, the fact of the matter is that because Monster, HotJobs and CareerBuilder are open to anybody with a pulse and a mouse (not necessarily in that order), a lot of people who aren’t qualified are applying for your job too. And that’s the biggest complaint we hear from recruiters – that they’re overwhelmed by the deluge of resumes from unqualified job-seekers. They’d love to find you, but they just don’t have the time to go through all those resumes. What’s more, an industry study shows that less than a third of all corporate job postings ever make it on to one of the Big Three.

We started ResumeSpider to serve the career seeker. We work for you the career seeker and don’t accept money from hiring firms or recruiters – no success fee, no placement fee, and no cost to the company or recruiter for sending your resume to them. By reaching out and collecting all of this job networking contact information in one place, we save you hours of Internet time, days of missed opportunities, and years spent dawdling in the same old job for lack of a better opportunity.

Do not gamble with your future. Give us a try today, and I’m that sure you’ll love everything we have to offer.

What makes ResumeSpider different from other career sites?

The trend for several years now has been for career seekers to post their resume on various employment web sites. These sites then charge recruiters, employers and corporate hiring managers large fees to search for candidates. The result is only to get lost in a crowd of thousands of new applicants who submit every hour. Many leading job boards can receive over 100,000 new candidates EVERY DAY.

Do you think you will be able to stand out among all that competition and reach the decision makers who really matter?

Clearly this “numbers game” is slow, inefficient and impractical for finding a rewarding career.

Even in this economy, there are still millions of great jobs out there. It’s just that many of the best ones never make their way to the job boards or the classifieds. Instead, they’re taken by people who know about them before they’re ever advertised. These are confidential or “hidden market” jobs not posted on job boards or in the newspaper. Recruiters, employers and corporate hiring managers work together in an influential, internal network to fill these desirable positions with qualified candidates, candidates with skills just like YOU.

There is a great job market out there for people who know how to access it. True career success lies in your ability to tap into this network of key decision makers in a timely and effective way.

ResumeSpider gives you access to this network – this is why we are different – this is why we will help you find the career you have been searching for – no other job search service can provide this information!

Can I stop my employer or certain companies from getting my resume?

Yes, this feature is available on Plan B and Plan C. You can “De-select” any Member Company from getting or viewing your resume. If they are not in YOUR list of Member Companies then we will not send them your resume anyway.

How do I cancel my subscription?

All subscriptions will automatically renew and your resume will be distributed monthly for $19.95. To stop auto-renewing, just cancel your subscription at any time before it renews. To cancel your subscription, send an email to info@resumespider.com or call 888-737-8635 ext 200.

Will my transaction be secure?

Absolutely. ResumeSpider uses industry leading e-commerce protection software and 1024-bit SSL encryption, from Trustwave, to protect all personal and credit card information. ResumeSpider.com is also located in a secured hosting facility for extra security and reliable uptime.

What kind of guarantee do you offer? How does it work?

At ResumeSpider, your results are 100% guaranteed! We are confident that you will enjoy positive results with our service. Within 90 days, if you do not experience 95% accuracy with our Direct Hire Employer List or get at least 50 recruiter evaluations from our Resume Distribution Report, we will refund your money. And when you secure your new career with a recruiter, employer or corporate hiring manager that has registered with ResumeSpider, your distribution fees will be reimbursed by your new employer!

That means when you get a new career through ResumeSpider, this service is FREE!

What is the difference in the pricing plans?

ResumeSpider provides you a simple pricing subscription. Additionally, you will be allowed to upgrade your package at any time by paying the difference.

When you choose to “Spider” – or target and distribute – your resume to a group of recruiters, employers and corporate hiring managers, you will be asked to select one of the following subscription packages:

Plan A – Basic Resume Distribution:

$39.95 for the 1st month and then $19.95 per month.

Create a profile by selecting your desired job function, industry and location. Your profile is then matched to Member Companies in the ResumeSpider system. Member Companies consist of the nation’s top recruiters, employers and corporate hiring managers that have registered at ResumeSpider and been approved to receive your information. We then distribute (email) your resume every month, as your subscription renews, to your matching Member Companies, until you cancel your account.

Plan B – Resume Distribution Plus:

$69.95 (Valued at $79.90) for the 1st month and then $19.95 per month.

In addition to the Resume Distribution in Plan A, we provide you with 3 more powerful job search benefits: 1) the contact information for each lead in your distribution, 2) real-time reporting – we will track who opens and evaluates your resume, and 3) give you access to the SpiderTalk private messaging system.

Plan C – Proactive Approach:

$99.95 (Valued at $119.85) for the 1st month and then $19.95 per month.

Our most popular offer! In addition to all the features of Plan A and Plan B, You will also have access to the “Direct Hire Employer List.” This list has thousands of employers in your selected location and industry and provides a minimum of one insider contact name. These contacts are not members of ResumeSpider, therefore we do not send your resume to the companies in this list. However, the value of this information can empower you with key insider names used for follow-up, networking, and information on open jobs (advertised or discrete).

What browsers work with ResumeSpider?

The ResumeSpider web site is best accessed with one of the following web browsers:

Disabling browser functions such as Javascript, Cookies or SSL may cause certain functionality to be unavailable.

What is the “Hidden Job Market”?

The hidden job market represents the employment opportunities that are never advertised to the public by employers and recruiters. Therefore, if you search for a career only using job boards, you will miss out on finding the really good jobs that never get advertised. Only those career seekers who know the right people will ever learn of these positions and have the best chance at meeting insiders that can make hiring decisions or influence the hiring process.

Who receives my resume?

The contacts in your Resume Distribution Report. We register and verify only the nation’s top recruiters, employers and corporate hiring managers. Only those with a specific interest in your industry, job function and geographic preferences will receive your resume. We customize each search to maximize time, energy and cost for both the career seeker and the recruiter/hiring manager.

How do I know if my resume was distributed?

ResumeSpider provides you with a personalized, private “Spider Account”, which gives you immediate and unlimited online access to all of the employers who have received your Spidered resume (provided in real-time.) This account allows you to access phone numbers, contact names, company descriptions, as well as an online messaging system “Spider Talk” to provide you with a tool for timely follow-up. No one else can come close to offering this type of service!

Note: This service is not available for Plan A.

How do I get contact information for MY Member Companies?

The contact information is available when you purchase or upgrade to Plan B or Plan C. ResumeSpider is an interactive, online database system that allows you to access your account information immediately. The matching recruiters, employers and corporate hiring managers are saved for the Career Seekers in your online personal account. This data can be accessed online 24/7/365 by career seekers. You get instant feedback and complete statistics about your resume activity, including:

  • An exact count of recruiters and employers who received your resume
  • A list of who has received and reviewed your resume
  • Detailed contact information on the recruiters, employers and corporate hiring managers in your network
  • The date your account was opened
  • The date your resume was emailed
  • Your resume distribution selections
  • An area to allow you to contact recruiters and hiring managers directly and privately
Do employers / recruiters contact me directly?

Yes. Our online messaging system “Spider Talk” provides an opportunity for you and the employer to contact each other directly, instantly and privately (great for timely follow-ups!).

However we empower you with their contact information, so call them!. The hiring needs of recruiters and employers consistently change. You need to contact them to stay on their radar screen. ResumeSpider will email your resume again at day 30 and day 60.

I want to relocate. Can ResumeSpider help me?

You bet. ResumeSpider offers you the ability to specify geographic preferences on your personal profile. Your resume will only be received by hiring managers and recruiters who have employment opportunities in those areas in which you desire to live.
